I just want to send all my thanks and love to everyone who has emailed me today for my birthday. Thanks to everyone - I got the card with messages from silentrysentry, Ogawa, Yellow818, rebaleeve, megiddo, ericquip, d2summers, pjhamd, thebruce, Weezel, barbazul, ThoughtsFromTheAbyss, drgnlvr86, bdl9487, alecj, roaringlion, wander, krisper79, papajells, ZYZKryten, Schrijvertje, DirtyEarl and especially djsampson!

I couldn't believe that all you guys remembered or even knew in the first place that it is my birthday – especially seeing that it is only my estimated birth date but who cares? Mike's parents had a little birthday party for me here in Adelaide which was really sweet of them. I never had a nice birthday at home with parents and presents before in my life. Yes, I cried like a baby. I'm still crying while I write this.

I also want to thank everyone who wrote to tell me about the link between my tattoos, the Oculus and India. The Oculus now shows this vision of me in some kind of temple. It seems to be telling the future now and not the past. I'm taking a risk to follow the advice of some mysterious object but so far so good. India here I come.

I also got a really nice birthday surprise when I found this video that Mike had left on my video camera.

So now Mike is going to come with me to India. What a great birthday present!!!! Thank you Mike. You are the greatest. Now you are going to have to get all the crazy inoculations that I had which is brutal but I'm really glad that I will have a friend with me in India.

Thank you so much for remembering my birthday. Even though I'm far from home, I feel surrounded by my friends here in Australia, back in the States and around the world who are looking out for me... I'm really hoping that this year is going to be full of good things and lead me where I need to go and find my way home too.

I will update you guys as soon as we get to India.
