Ayahuasca Medicine

A type of Shamanistic sacrament in use in certain South American rituals, which involve use of hallucinogenic alkaloid extracts from certain Amazonian vines.


Brane Theory

Collectively, a set of theories in particle physics and cosmology, related to string theory in physics (about multiple-dimensional universes).


Enochian

An ancient "angelic alphabet" first popularized in the 1500s by two occultists named John Dee and Edward Kelley.


Nephilim

In Judeo-Christian mythology, believed to be a possible race of half-men, half-angels.


Noumenal

Pertaining to a noumenon, a term coined by the philosopher Kant. It is an object as it is in itself independent of the mind, as opposed to a phenomenon.


Oculus

Means "eye" in Latin. Also in Roman architecture, it can also refer to a round hole in the ceiling of a structure, something of a skylight for observing celestial bodies, opening up the interior to the elements of weather (drains in the floor). The most famous of these is in the roof of the Pantheon of Rome, which was used as a sun observatory.


Rune

Characters in several alphabets used by ancient Germanic peoples from the 3rd to the 13th century or a similar character in another alphabet, sometimes believed to have magic powers.


Synaesthesia

A neurological condition in which two or more senses are interconnected, so that individuals claim to "see sounds" or "smell colors". Historically, has been linked with hallucinatory drug use, brain damage patients, and savants with artistic inclinations, such as Kadinski.
